International Corporate Leadership Programme
ICLP is a collaboration between the University
of Leeds and a range of internationally
based companies, supported by Visiting Professors and Industrialists.
The Keyworth
Institute manages the programme for the University.
The programme involves students, for up to two years, in integrated
work placements and company based projects, with both designed to deliver
real benefits to the company.
|
The programme is designed
specifically to satisfy a need identified by leading industrial
companies for high quality engineering graduates
who possess a wider skill base that includes international, business
and leadership awareness and experience as well as communication
and teamwork skills.

The
University of Leeds has an international
reputation in engineering for
both research and teaching.
It has real breadth and depth in engineering expertise
(Chemical, Civil, Electronic and Electrical, Environmental, Materials, Mechanical, Mining and Minerals, and Product Design).
In the 2008 RAE (Research Assessment Excercise) these schools were highly rated (1st, 4th, 7th and 15th in the country for those disciplines that were assessed). Leeds as a whole were rated equal 14th from 132 institutions. Leeds also has one of the largest pools
of engineering undergraduates in the country. Equally
importantly, and especially from a company point of
view, the Keyworth Institute acts
a one-stop shop for access
to students of all these disciplines |
